Originally known as Bucy and Hill Construction Co., Sunrush Construction Co., Inc., was founded in 1952 as a complete Design / Build and General contracting company. Joe Wells, a registered Professional Engineer who had served with the company since 1959, became the President and Owner in 1973. In 1987 the company’s name was changed to Sunrush Construction Co., Inc. which continued down the Design/Build path.
The Design / Build General contracting market in the early years was in commercial, industrial and educational facilities. With over 5 decades of experience, Sunrush Construction offers customers the option of complete design/build construction services. We accomplish this through the avenues of self-performance and highly valued relationships with subcontractors from around the Central and Southern Ohio markets.
Under the leadership of Greg Wells, President since 1999, Sunrush has continued to develop and evolve to offer Plan and Spec General Contracting Services, Design / Build services and Construction Management Services. In addition to general construction, Sunrush has been very blessed to have been of service to many exciting Kingdom projects including: Amanda UMC, Brookside Church, St. Paul’s AME, Peace Lutheran, Calvary Baptist, Lighthouse Baptist, Bible Baptist, Peebles UMC, Crossroads Church, Emmett Chapel, First Nazarene of Circleville, and many more. The Lord has blessed Sunrush with fifty-six years (56) in the construction business and never have we not completed a project, nor have we ever been removed or replaced on a project. In fact over 40% of our annual sales are from repeat clients.
